A Community Problem Solving Project in Coordination with Second Servings and the Houston Health Department.
We collect excess food from places including Trader Joes, Slow Dough, and Bread Man with the help of Second Servings that otherwise would have been thrown away.
Across our three events, we have collected distributed over 3550 pounds of food. Our donations range from fresh fruits and vegetables to baked goods to packaged meats.
